OUR ORIGINS
FRONTIER¹ was founded in 2025 in the Netherlands by Mathias Seignette. His family’s work in medical science and human resilience dates back to 1633, when one of the oldest apothecaries on France’s Atlantic coast supplied medicine, salt, and botanical formulations to communities at the edge of conflict and trade.
This tradition of care, precision, and preparation under pressure shaped a lasting principle: act when it matters, and prepare for what you cannot control.
FRONTIER¹ was co-founded with Frenk and Richard, former Dutch Special Forces operators with over 12 years of service each in high-risk theatres worldwide. With dozens of Tier-1 missions and extreme endurance challenges – including ten triathlons in ten days - they brought deep field experience to the foundation.
Today, FRONTIER¹ develops field-ready nutrition for demanding environments: from tactical deployments to expeditions and humanitarian aid.
